Its cruciform layout divides space into four purposeful quadrants. An endemic garden welcomes in the first, while a shaded car park nestles in the second. A majestic stone wall guards privacy, framing mountain views. The third quadrant houses a serene one-bedroom abode, balancing public and private realms. Finally, the vertical office in the fourth pays homage to the region's mining legacy. • Small Architecture", for the project of Emma House: "Inspired by the moving experience at the Paula Rego Museum, designed by Eduardo Souto de Moura, we created Emma House, a project that seeks to convey the same serenity through light. Emma House, a contemporary reinterpretation of the Purépecha troje, uses wood as a central material, evoking a deep respect for tradition. On a compact site, light and space are efficiently managed, creating an atmosphere that invites contemplation.
